Cette semaine, nous fêtons le 30 avril 2021 la Journée Internationale du Jazz, créée en 2011 par l'UNESCO, et à cette occasion, Anya vous propose une playlist sur le thème du Jazz en Afrique, concoctée par Billy Domingo, Directeur du plus grand festival de Jazz en Afrique sub-saharienne, le Cape Town International Jazz Festival.

This week, we celebrate on April 30th 2021 the International Jazz Day, created in 2011 by UNESCO, and on this occasion, Anya offers you a playlist on the theme of Jazz in Africa, concocted by Billy Domingo, Director of the biggest Jazz festival in sub-Saharan Africa, the Cape Town International Jazz Festival.

De l'Artscape Theatre du Cap à la gestion de l'ouverture officielle de Sun City avec Frank Sinatra, il est devenu Directeur du divertissement à Sun City, produisant des dizaines de spectacles internationaux au fil des ans. Domingo a parcouru le monde pour conseiller et diriger de grandes équipes de professionnels. Sa passion pour le transfert et le développement des compétences est évidente dans toutes les productions dont il est responsable. Aujourd'hui, Billy Domingo est le directeur du plus grand festival de jazz d'Afrique subsaharienne, le Cape Town International Jazz Festival. Parmi les autres événements que Domingo a produits, citons le Festive Lights Switch-On de la ville du Cap, qui accueille chaque année plus de 100 000 personnes.
From the Artscape Theatre in Cape Town to managing the grand opening of Sun City with Frank Sinatra, he became Entertainment Director at Sun City, producing dozens of international shows over the years. Domingo has traveled the world advising and leading large teams of professionals. His passion for skill transfer and development is evident in every production he has been responsible for. Today, Billy Domingo is the director of the largest jazz festival in sub-Saharan Africa, the Cape Town International Jazz Festival. Other events Domingo has produced include Cape Town's Festive Lights Switch-On, which annually welcomes over 100,000 people.
